Inductosense – Remote UT & Sensor Array

Project Summary

This project will seek to develop adaptable wirelessly activated sensors that can monitor wall thickness over an array of points/areas. These permanently mounted sensor arrays are capable of collecting accurate data of material thickness of equipment in situ.

These sensors will integrate with the Inductosense WAND system which can easily be used to collect and transfer data for further analysis of corrosion/erosion rates.

OUTCOMES

This project will produce a highly adaptable array configuration suitable for differing corrosion topographies and application requirements such as the outside of elbows, opposite injection points, and reducers where flow-accelerated corrosion can be expected.
